Yes, thank you Madam Mayor. The City Council will be meeting in closed session to consider one item, a conference with real property negotiators regarding 408 North Montgomery Street, Ojai California. The negotiating party are the city and Habitat for Humanity under negotiation of price in terms of payment. The city is not expected to reach any final agreement nor reportable action today but to provide direction on the ongoing negotiations which will return if successfully concluded for a future council meeting for the council to approve a land deal with Habitat for Humanity. The same project is on the open session agenda under item 1H, for consideration of approval of a letter supporting a grant application to the state seeking funding for the project.
